Prom

I think going to prom is stupid.  I think it is stupid because you go to the school for it so theres way too many teachers and old people you know and you should go some where else for the prom not at your own school.  I didn't go to this years prom so I don't have any thoughts about it.  It is never important to go to prom even if it is your senior year.  All you do is dance and stupid stuff like that.  I don't know what after prom is so I couldn't really tell you anything about that.

Earth Day

Earth Day really means nothing to me because nobody in my family or me celebrate Earth Day.  I may have participated in some type of Earth Day celebration when I was in Elementary School or something, but that would be really the only time I have ever celebrated Earth Day.  3 facts about Earth Day I didn't already know are: 

* Earth Day was founded by U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson from Wisconsin who wanted to respond to an oil spill off Santa Barbara, California. President Bill Clinton awarded Sen. Nelson the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1995 for his role as Earth Day founder.

* The first Earth Day got a lot of attention when more than 20 million people participated and by the end of 1970, Congress authorized the creation of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

* Although Earth Day originated in the United States, it went global in 1990 with 140 countries participating. In 2000, more than 180 countries participated.

The kind of things we should do to celebrate this day is to properly recycle things and plant trees just to name a few.

Spring Break

The day from spring break that I am picking is Saturday.  I choose Saturday because I was in Kentucky and that day I got to see my great grandma along with my grandma and uncle.  Later on that day I went back to my grandma's house because thats where me and my family were staying because she has a huge house.  And after that we ordered pizza and ate their and then watched the NASCAR races with my dad in the basement.
