New Technology

The piece of new technology I would like to have is probably the xbox one because it seems pretty cool and it's unlike any of the recent xbox's.  I would play with this new technology.  It wouldn't really make my life any better it would just give me more entertainment when I'm bored.  I would use this new technology mainly for fun because educational games are no fun most of the time.

My four day weekend

First of all, I was glad to have a four day weekend because I hate school.  My four day week consisted of family, thanksgiving, and football.  Thursday was a half day so the four day weekend started early.  On Thursday I didn't really do nothing but my mom was getting the food and stuff ready for thanksgiving.  On Friday, a few of my family members came over like my aunt, uncle, and a few of my cousins and we all had thanksgiving dinner and watched football all day.  On Saturday I watched the Michigan and Ohio State game, which came down to the last 30 seconds surprisingly but Michigan failed to win the game because a 2 point conversion that got intercepted by Ohio State.  Even if Michigan had kicked the PAT, I believe Ohio State still would've won anyways because of how strong their running game was with Braxton Miller and Carlos Hyde.  The final score ended up being 42-41 but that's a pretty good effort for a team that wasn't even ranked (Michigan) against the third national team in college football.  And Sunday I just watched the Minnesota Vikings beat the Chicago Bears which was awesome because I hate the Bears.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving to me means mainly football because they have football on all day from the afternoon until like 11:00 p.m.  That's for the NFL, I don't know about college but I don't usually pay attention to college games on Thanksgiving because the Packers usually play and they are my favorite team.  I usually go upnorth to celebrate Thanksgiving but I can't because my family decided to go during deer season so I'm just staying home this time.  The foods my family usually eats is turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes.  There's not really a tradition in my family about Thanksgiving we just celebrate with the people that are in my house at the time.  We celebrate Thanksgiving because we want to.

What is your idea of a dull evening?

My meaning of a dull evening is doing nothing at all.  Some people try to read a book or something like that, but for me, books are one of the most boring things to do in this world so books are a no-go for me.  Instead I'd probably go outside and play some basketball or anything else besides reading a book.

Why is it important to be honest?

It is important to be honest because you don't want people thinking you're a lier and if they find out if you lied the people you lied to won't wanna be friends with you any more.  There is always a time when you can lie, you just can't get caught.  Although it is important to tell the truth in serious situations.. like parents trying to find their kid or something like that.  I never recall lying to get something I really wanted, but I probably have before I just can't remember.  On average, I probably lie about 4 or 5 times a week, but of course they're not serious situations.  I mostly lie to my parents because they're usually never serious with me, but I also lie to my friends when all of them keep asking me for gum.  I lie to them because it is my gum.  It is only important to tell the truth when you're in a serious situation like I said earlier.

Green Bay Packers vs Chicago Bears

Today I am going to blog about the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears game that kicks off tonight on Monday November 4th, 2013 at 8:30 p.m.  Coming into the game, the Packers are on a 4 game winning streak without atleast 5 of their starters total on offense and defense.  On offense they're going to be playing with out 2 of their starting wide recievers (Randall Cobb and James Jones) and on defense they're without 3 of their starting linebackers (Brad Jones, Clay Matthews, and Nick Perry).  So the Packers are going against a very talented Bears team, but they also have injuries that can/will affect how they play.  Bears quarterback Jay Cutler will not play because of a groin tear and linebacker Lance Briggs will not play because of his knee... I think.  So hopefully the Packers win that game and they stay at #1 on top of the NFC North.

Halloween

The topic I am blogging about this week is halloween.  I usually always trick or treated until I was about 11 but then I stopped because I didn't want to do it anymore.  The age I thought was too old to go trick or treating was about 11 or 12 but it depends on what type of person you are.  Halloween parties are not my cup of tea so I don't prefer halloween parties.  Instead I usually go to about 3 or 4 different haunted houses around Adrian, Jackson, and Hudson.  My favorite halloween costume I wore in the elementary school was probably a Batman costume since I was into it so much back then.  The candy I liked the most back when I trick or treated was probably the mini snickers or twix bars.  I usually carve a pumpkin every year, it's not the most exciting thing, but I still do it.  I have not carved one this year.

Green Bay Packers vs Detroit Lions

The topic I chose to write about this week is the Green Bay Packers beating the Detroit Lions.  This game took place at 1:00 p.m. on sunday in Green Bay, Wisconsin at Lambeau Field.  It was a very good game mainly because the Packers didnt allow the Lions to get in the end zone once during the first three quarters.  But by that point the Packers were already up 22 to 9 with about 4 minutes left to go in the 4th quarter and the Lions just looked like an absolute mess the whole game.  Of course without their two main wide recievers and playmakers (Calvin Johnson and Nate Burleson), it made the game for the Packers a little bit easier.  The Packers defense only allowed the Lions to a total of 65 yards rushing and a little over 250 yards passing.  The Packers are now 2-2 coming off of a bye week and the Lions are 3-2 and are yet to have a bye week.  Offensively and defensively, the Packers just out played the Lions and the Packers won the ballgame 22 to 9.

Pep assembly

The pep assembly last week was good, but last years was way better when all the teachers started dancing. Yes I enjoyed the pep assembly, the best part was when the students from each grade had to do stuff like hitting the vollyball back and forth while running from end to end in the gym, bouncing on the yoga ball,  digging their face into the cool whip and getting the two gumballs and then having to blow a bubble, and at the end when one student had to throw the football to another student from one end to the other.  The worst part was probably sitting in the bleachers for an hour and a half because your butt starts to go numb.  No I did not participate, nor have I ever participated in spirit week.  What I would like to see at the pep assemblies is stuff involving more of the teachers.  The shirtless crew was great because they make a lot of noise and cheer on their aggies every week.

Dressing up for spirit week

Dressing up for spirit week I think was a big success for all the grades.  A lot of people participated in it and there were some very cool outfits throughout the week in each grade.  Everyone that dressed up gives their class a great shot on winning the cedar point trip at the end of the year and it lets you dress in something different that the casual everyday school clothes and dress in clothes that you wouldn't normally come to school with.
